Nutty Professor 2: The
Klumps (M15+)
ComedyStarring:
Eddie Murphy, Janet Jackson, Larry Miller
Director: Peter Segal
Released: 14 December 2000 |

|
A sequel to Eddie Murphy's popular remake
of The Nutty Professor, this follow-up looks a far bit crasser
than its predecessor; and that's saying something. Still, the preview looks like
this film will provide plenty of laughs, especially if you enjoyed the original.
We've had to wait along time to see this film (it was released in the U.S in May) so let's
hope it is worth the wait. Read

Bring It On (M15+)
Teen ComedyStarring:
Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, Jesse Bradford
Directors: Peyton Reed
Released: 14 December 2000 |
Cheerleading does not seem like a great
theme to base a movie on but this film looks like it may be worth a look. The
preview shows that this film will a lot of fun and let's hope that it doesn't try and go
all sentimental like American Pie did. If it sticks to
being a straight comedy then this may be one of the surprise hits of the summer. Read the Review |
Vertical Limit
(M15+)
AdventureStarring:
Chris O'Donnell, Bill Paxton, William Devane
Director: Martin Campbell
Released: 21 December 2000 |

|
If they gave out awards for the best
preview of the year then the one for Vertical Limit would win hands down. The
trailer by itself is as heart-pumping as any action film this year and let's hope that the
film itself can maintain that same sense of action. This looks like a film that you
should just forget about the plot - a man scales K-2 to rescue his stranded sister - and
just enjoy the action. It looks spectacular! Read the Review |

102 Dalmatians (G)
Kids ComedyStarring:
Glenn Close, Gerard Depardieu, Alice Evans
Directors: Kevin Lima
Released: 26 December 2000 |
Summer always brings with it a flood of
releases aimed at children and this sequel to 101 Dalmatians is
one such film. This time around, Cruella De Vil is released after being
rehabilitated but it does not take long for her to begin pining for that Dalmatian-fur
coat that she has always wanted. This will prove enjoyable for the kids but adults
should probably try and take their kids to see The Grinch
instead. |
